7 - Is the fact that modern science has never seen a human being return to life in contrast with the fact that the same modern science has demonstrated that the man on the Shroud returned to life?

One fact does not exclude the other. The emission of energy revealed on the Shroud has never happened during the death of a man or during his lifetime. The radiation that created the images is a unique phenomenon to date, associated with the again unique phenomenon of a return to life.

The fact that modern science has never seen a human being return to life does not exclude the possibility that it may see this phenomenon or that this might have happened.

For science, the unique phenomenon of life on Earth cannot exclude the possibility that other planets might host life, even though so far none of the billions of planets has shown signs of life.

History shows that science often disconcerts and amazes those who for the first time find themselves face-to-face with a discovery that changes the life of all humanity.

Before the discovery of electromagnetism, speaking by phone with someone on another continent, or seeing a train hanging in the air on an electromagnetic cushion, would have caused the same sense of dismay in our ancestors that pervades us today.

Cures for many diseases would have seemed impossible a few centuries ago.

As history has shown, scientific research has no limits, it can rule nothing out; otherwise, it wouldn’t be science.

In the history of science, when you find an effect in nature, you study the cause of it, and then you try to repeat the phenomenon in the laboratory. The scientist is not fearful but happy when he discovers a phenomenon that disconcerts and enlightens knowledge.
